As the autumn progresses, online grocery keeps on gaining share of the market in Sweden. In September online was 5,2 % of all groceries sold. The share of online seems to be staying on a higher level after the pandemic. New routines seem to be somewhat sticky.

Home delivery has been driving the online growth for last two quarters. Could this mean that online is growing more in bigger cities and more rural Click & Collect services have been decreasing?

Online has also become an important growth driver for the entire industry. In Q3 online represented 40 % of all growth in Swedish groceries.

The overall market growth seems also to have been getting back to more normal growth levels with +1,6 % of Year on Year growth.
