Tokmanni back to above market growth
Tokmanni managed to bounce back to growing faster than overall reference market (non-food sales in Finland). Even though the reference market does not cover all of Tokmanni’s competition, it is a sign that the company might winning market share.
The Like-for-like growth for Tokmanni has matured back to pre-pandemic levels. In Q3 same store sales grew by 5,4 %.
Besides the five new stores opened, the growth was driven by higher average order sizes, which were up by 5,7 %.
Encouraging for the profitability of the company is the work done to increase the amount of direct sourcing and own-label (or Tokmanni controlled products). Direct sourcing products now make up 27,4 % of revenue (up from 26,4 % a year ago). Tokmanni controlled products are 32,1 % of revenue.
