Online grocery remains high in Denmark

The overall grocery market in Denmark declined -6% from the Q1/2021 (which had seen +37% growth). Online declined a bit faster -9,7%.

Despite the decline, online still represented 6,8% of all groceries sold in Denmark the first quarter. That is a bit lower than a year before, but significantly higher than before the pandemic.

Online grocery revenue is now 60% higher than before the pandemic (Q1/2020).
