US online retail back to pre-pandemic levels

Online share of all retailing is returning to pre-pandemic growth levels. This is partly driven by the huge growth in the store based retailing over the last nine months. In absolute revenue terms online is on a significantly higher level than before the pandemic.

Share of online in US during the Q3 was 12,4% of all retailing. Online grew most rapidly in Home and Clothing categories. Both of them were categories, which have bounced back from the pandemic and thus stores based growth was much more rapid.
