BHG - the Nordic online growth phenomenon

The Swedish online DIY retailer BHG has grown Rapidly for years through its efficient model of acquisition driven growth. Since the start of 2018 the company has only during three quarters grown by less than 20%.

With BHG’s scale (1 272 M€ last 12 months), consistent 20% - 30% growth is more than good performance.

During the pandemic BHG grew Explosively (between 30% - 60% by quarter). Despite the rapid growth in 2020 and 2021, BHG managed to grow by 21% during Q1/2022.

Of the two business segments of BHG, Home Furnishings has grown more rapidly during the last quarters (almost double the pace to the DIY segment). Now Home Furnishings represents already 47% of revenue for BHG.

BHG Finland has also been growing strongly (even though less than the overall company growth). With 16,8% of growth on top of very strong growth comps is solid growth, especially as some of the big Finnish retailers have been giving out profit warnings.
