Ocado has accelerated to its fastest pace of growth since the pandemic. The company reported its first-ever quarter of sales exceeding £700 million per quarter.

Ocado has seen strong growth momentum for the fifth consecutive quarter of 10+% growth. The partnership with M&S Food, which has also seen strong growth over the last years, plays a key role in this.

The most significant thing about the growth is that it has come specifically through volume growth, not price growth. Prices at Ocado practically did not increase at all in the latter part of the year.

After strong growth, Ocado is starting to approach the half-million delivery milestone. To put the figure into perspective, the UK's online food retailer, Tesco, delivers an average of 1.3 million weekly orders. The average purchase at Ocado is slightly higher (£120 vs £108).
